As beautiful as eclipses are they are times of potent and often unstable energy; car trouble is said to happen more during eclipses than other times (I once ran out of gas due to a faulty gas gauge on the Mass Pike in the middle of a freezing, blinding snow storm during a total lunar eclipse--the moon actually disappeared--and screamed for twenty minutes at passing cars for help. Either no one saw me or didn't care. Finally a trucker stopped.)
