The top cupboard in the kitchen is where crackers and the box of cereal live - and this morning I also found ants in the cereal. Grrrr! I had to dump the cereal in the compost and spritzed a healthy dose of DE into the cupboard and relocated food items that hadn't been attacked by ants. They appear to come from the attic - I fear the attic is full of ants right now. Time for a mask and DE up there, I think.

I also sprayed for ants and other pests in the garden this morning. Compost tea, a little orange oil (D-limonene) and soap as surfactant. I set the watering pattern for less often also, as the days are finally cooling off some.
