Acme, was there sposed to be a link to an image or sumpin?

Methinks Michelle and Acme are BOTH 'right,' and here's how I resolve the apparent dichotomy.

Going purely by what you've presented in these decluttering/fitness threads, Michelle, I'd gather your primary vision is about family.... that's what everything else is subsidiary to, right? That vision could be shown as a poem or picture, in that Forever column, with you as the farm-woman-strong, healthy great-grandmother of a large, flourishing brood in the world, with ancient Pete at your side?

If that's even close, you *might* find some of those other columns filling in.... or you might be so creatively wired that-- for you-- being bound by a plan does not make sense during your years of most-active parenthood. After all, as the saying goes: Man proposes, God (Life) disposes. Your several degrees and careers, your frequent repurposing of rooms.... all sound to me like creative flexibility toward your vision.

And Acme is right by virtue of 'task analysis' (which Google can explain for you non-classroom teachers).

So it IS about different strokes. It's also about different semantics, as well as different life stages.

If you re-read my post above, I described how it looks for ME. I gave away years of experience applying a method used by many, whose homes are a constant delight of balance and simple beauty. But I think that by now folks know I mentally add YMMV to every post. If not, now ya do.

My life stage, health, and family history make me one of the old ladies of this thread. Take the best, and leave the rest. I do not have enough hours in the day to explain that again. I got my LIFE back and I plan to LIVE it!

;-)

So see my gray hairs, wouldja please? Cripes, I been HERE for fifteen years now, and I warn't a spring chicken when I crossed that road!
