So last night I picked all the meat off from the turkey and boiled the bones resulting in approximately 2 gallons of broth which was put into the fridge for the night. I was surprised at just how little fat needed to be skimmed this morning. I made a small pot of turkey noodle soup for my nana in the nursing home. Her turkey noodle soup was always one of my favorites so it makes me feel pretty good to make some for her. :)

Jeremiah had a soccer game this afternoon where I passed the soup on to my mom who will get it to my nana. Afterwards we went out for ice cream. :) A special treat for Jeremiah who had a stellar week at school.

Back home and helped with some pen work for the new calves. Oh my word but they are cute. Then some laundry, packing lunches for the week, warming up some leftover chili for dinner to go with a cheesy quesadilla.

Tomorrow I meet with my new endocrinoloist. I still need to make a list of my current meds, a list of things I am experiencing and questions that I have. I hope it is a good fit. Having had more than my share of doctor visits, I have learned that I need to speak up for myself, I need a doctor who LISTENS and one who meshes with my personality. Condescending, rude doctors are no longer tolerated. I'm crossing my fingers that this is a good fit.

I am planning to get some Halloween decorations out this week as well as our portable fire pit. I am wishing it was already out as tonight would be a great evening for it.

Have fun ya'll!
