I have been busy, but with nothing worth reporting, except to note that EVERYTHING seems to declutter the wallet. :-/ I had to do some driving today and am happy to report that new tires make for a much better driving experience. I hadn't realized how much I was compensating, especially when starting after a red light. The traction was poor with those old tires.

I have a template of heavy-duty cardboard for a plank I need to cut to slip over the sliding glass door handle for use with the dog door in place. One of the dogs has figured out how to nudge at the glass and slide the door open even if the plastic cover is over the dog flap itself - he trots through the large opening if the dog door opening isn't available. This will prevent that.
