Last year I switched to a bagless vacuum, which means I use it more often. Bags aren't particularly expensive, but they are tedious to change. And this one (a Shark) is lightweight and fits into more places than the old Hoover.

The house smells wonderful after making bread last night and this evening I'll roast a chicken to use for meals during the week. The A/C is still on (so not running at all right now) but the quality of light and the length of the days are telling my brain that cooking season is just around the corner.

Digging eBay items out of the closets and from areas where they got stashed during the summer. And it is approaching beading season. I miss the conversations I used to have with Katlaughing about beaded projects, materials, and findings. She was a wealth of information on those art projects.
