Remarks aren't always meant for just one recipient - that's the beauty of these threads, with probably more lurkers than participants. The vacuum advice won't go to waste. :)

Before a recent trip I let the produce level in the fridge dwindle, and since I've been back I've had some from the garden, but I finally made a stop at my favorite Fiesta grocery and picked up at least a half dozen bags of fruits and vegetables. I give some to the dogs to supplement their dry food, but most of it is for me. The smell of baked sweet potato is in the air now. I steamed some cauliflower to have it ready to warm and eat, and since I have a few smallish tomatoes from the garden right now I had a BLT for dinner.

This autumn I've done a better job of getting myself to bed early enough to get at least 8 hours of sleep before my alarm goes off. Getting plenty of sleep has lots of health benefits and the price is right - compared to many other stay-healthy programs. I have the amber glasses here (like Alice recommended) but haven't had to use them often. Another thing I like is a cup of chamomile tea in the evening (Linn, I have a parcel of loose tea that I'll get mailed to you one of these days).
