Okay, I have the annual, good old, wonderful, appointment with the insurance dude this afternoon. Gonna hit him up with what is probably a new one to him: How do Pat and I insure our books?

I have 1,914 cataloged and inventoried, she has 1,100. Using SLJ's average prices for 2015, I have a collection worth better than USD 39,000 and hers, being much more specialized is worth at least USD 31,000. Of course, not everything is cataloged and inventoried yet! And then there are her quilts -- the mid-18th Century one she just got has a center panel dyed with lapis lazuli (yes, that was done).

Then there's the fabr...fab...fa...f...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
