A couple of great finds at Goodwill this week. A large sturdy basket to use for newspaper recycling so I can corral the otherwise sprawling brown grocery bags filled with newspapers. It was one of those finds that as soon as I picked it up a couple of others were right there waiting to see if I was going to put it down. I suspect it hadn't been out on the shelves long that morning.

Today I found a few more items at my local thrift store. Yes, they add to the "clutter," but I will evaluate if they stay or go. For a long time I've wanted a small toaster oven but didn't want to spend the money or tie up the counter space. There are times when I want to heat a meal but don't want to turn on the large oven in the stove. Today I found a small convection (bake/broil/toaster) oven for $11, making it worthwhile to purchase and test out. It was in excellent condition, easy to clear up to near-new condition. I have a toaster for bread and bagels, but I'll try them in here and see how they turn out. If they're good, I can substitute this oven for the toaster.

I have a couple of eBay items in play this week, one awaiting payment and another with a watcher - similar items, and it may be the same shopper. My favorite app on the phone is the one that occasionally awakes me with the "ka-ching" of the old cash register drawer - it's my eBay app telling me I've sold something. I heard it this morning.
