Tedious work, but I set up the tripod as a copy stand so I could get the camera close to these coins. Scanning doesn't result in as good an image as a close up camera lens. I have at least a half dozen ready to list.

The house needs a good sweep and vacuum as the hair is building up again from three dogs. When I brush them I keep it to use in the garden to repel mice and rats and other bothersome mammals, but the scattered hair goes straight out in the trash. I've moved around some things in the kitchen making it easier to sweep under furniture (part of what I moved are bags of newspaper that are in the car, destined for the village recycle bins). When I took the last bag out I looked at the lab who followed me and was just dying to get into the car. "Okay, just for a minute," and he hopped into the back end and over the seat backs into the passenger area. I guess we'll need to make a trip to the park tomorrow if the weather is nice. They haven't been anywhere out of the neighborhood for a while.
