Can I suggest that trying to please all of the people all of the time ends up pleasing nobody
Our various records are - well, a matter of record and open for all to see and judge, based on which, this is gradually forming into right and left factions - for and against - whatever.
Happy to row in with my twopennorth if this is what this thread is about - but just has happy not to if it isn't
