Could not care a toss whether or not you care for the drumhead service that closes the Festival of Remembrance or not - you have no part in it or of it. The order and format of the Festival is planned and organised by those who do and they will not lose one wink of sleep should you never watch it again. Your opinions on the subject are meaningless and worthless the Festival is for those who serve and have served their country - something you have never done.
