Frosting of snow this am! Mid afternoon, it thawed enough to fetch firewood safely! Have ascertained that chimney needs cleaning. Friends will do it on Monday. Fortunately it will be warmer - above freezing anyway! I shall have to let fire go out Sunday night but can use electric heaters if needed. THAT is what comes of not de-cluttering the chimney in August!

Shall have to get up at do the loading in the morning - and leave by 9:30, she says hopefully!

I must have done something useful today? Bought beans and nuts at bulk food store and put them in my new canisters. Went to Turkey supper at the Grove and emptied my car of the small boxes collected for antique dealer friends. Went to two bazaars and only came home with a "welcome" slate. Measured for the outdoor storage cabinet. Decided a small upper cabinet could be made into a lower at the end of the counter, right by the door, for mittens, hats and scarves.

Spent way long on FB; some of the craziness re Paris...   Did the emails and sent a couple to a recuperating friend to try to cheer her along. FB has become too depressing for her!

And so to bed!
