Speaking of "Eyes On The Prize," if you haven't seen the multi-part documentary of the same name, it's really worth looking into. Your local library might have it in the video section. It was produced in the late 1986 by Blackside Productions (who's founder sadly died just a few years ago), and is a very moving account of the civil rights movement of the 50's an 60's. Not long after, a second part was produced, taking it into the 70's.BTW, good advice, Allan C.
