I don't know, Keith, but certain news articles indicate that the war was enthusiastically accepted in Germany. I believe a young Adolph Hitler was at a rally in Munich celebrating the outbreak of war but I am, as ever, willing to defer to someone who knows for sure. You say you don't know either.
