But they are, Winny. It's a matter of choice. I know many who drink Coca-Cola, Red Bull, and other caffeinated beverages. The Church has said, 'The Church revelation spelling out health practices (Doctrine and Covenants 89) does not mention the use of caffeine.

'The Church's health guidelines prohibits alcoholic drinks, smoking or chewing of tobacco, and 'hot drinks' — taught by Church leaders to refer specifically to tea and coffee.'

Oh -- sacramental wine is excluded from the prohibition on alcoholic beverages.

There is no prohibition against owning coffee shops or a distillery and you'll find both in Salt Lake City. There was a brewery in Nauvoo. "Valley Tan" was distilled in SLC and sold to "gentiles" across the Rockies. Just tithe.
