Mill:
Did a bisque firing yesterday and did glazing, loading today. Hope it works as well as the one I unloaded yesterday. Six small bowls exploded in the bisque so I had a clean up job to do - lots of shards. (they were not dry enough even though I had thought they were.)

Sold the wheel but Ann's husband is going to leave it here, put a red ribbon on it for Christmas and let her decide whether she wants it at home or here. Her little pots look wonderful but she has not had time to come over and clean the bottoms - or even see them.

A couple hours visit with G and came home to FUMES from firing; set up fans to exhaust from studio and bring fresh air into LR! Kept mask on until air was OK! I now have a handle on when in the firing schedule the fuming happens - about the first 6 hours! At least it was above freezing outside.

Now, having not gone to the city to do laundry, I am looking for a portable washing machine on Kijiji. Preparing to leave for Beaver in the, probably late, morning.
