Seen both the French original (subtitled AND dubbed, er, once each, that is) and The Birdcage. The original is much funnier, but I have to go along with the several who agreed that Birdcage is an excellent flick. Lots of fun! (Just saw it over the holidays this winter.)

But I have to also agree with whoever else said there's an English version of it too. Don't remember anything about it; never seen it. But I'm about 98% sure that it did indeed exist.
