Unquestionable: those sweet raspberry rolls are BAD for me. I ate the last one at lunch a bit ago and now I want to go back to bed and my feet have turned to ice. (The house is warm.) This morning went off track when the kiln viewing was postponed to tomorrow; there went that plan - things were planned according to geography.

Then electric went off about 10 am - very unusual - but, thinking it was local, I went up to the HS to see the art teacher. Amazed to find the loss was widespread and everyone was leaving. So, nothing else in town would be open either. So I came home for lunch - bread with almond butter; did not want to open frig so I added the roll thing. Blichhh. Hope I remember this and not purchase anything else of that ilk.

Still, I thought I would go to the Grove but better phone to be sure my friend would be there. No answer. Considering canceling today! I have unloaded car into storage, brought in wood and found a possible recipe for something to take to Saturday's potluck.

Two positive emails last night, after I thanked, by email, those at the meeting for restraining themselves and not talking on top of each other. It went SO much better. Saved me from feeling bent, folded and mutilated by the end; I tend to get very prickly when that happens - my brain simply cannot cope with chaos.

The electric came back on about noon and now I think I shall take my cold feet out into the world. If I do a round of the thrift shops at least I will be moving and my feet will warm up. Better than sitting here wanting to go back to bed. Maybe if I warm up I might have the energy to work in the studio. Maybe.
