I have a Hoosier Kitchen and the metal pull-out shelf (with a porcelain finish) is in great shape. It's perfect for making pies. I usually pull it out and load it with plates, cutlery, cups, etc and people start there when we have pot luck buffets here at the house. I used to store plates and cups in the upper cabinets, but finally remember that the right hand cabinet is a pie safe and I need it to keep cooling baked goods out of reach of my counter surfing Labrador retriever.

Still haven't found those jeans. Maybe on a hook behind a door?
