This morning when I look around I see a house in which a slow motion explosion of paper, plastic, and cardboard boxes occurred. I've starting small, clearing out the laundry room (where some of this stuff is supposed to live, and the excess gets recycled).

And this year I'm going to try a completely new cookie, one I've never made or tasted before. The joy of exploring an old cookbook. I'll report back on the results.
