That's a rich wintery image, Dorothy! A couple of years ago we had a thick sheet of ice over the region and several snow days in a row. Today it's still sweater weather.

I'm going to make a recycling run and drop off items at the thrift store soon - and I have a bunch of flattened boxes that need clearing out. They're the size I most typically use for mailing stuff, but I only need so many of them.

Agreed about the cookie sheet question - I have some shallow pans (a 1/2 inch raised edge all around) that in the past I might have treated as cookie sheets, but after getting my hands on the insulated flat aluminum sheets, I'll never go back. Those edged pans work well with foil over them for roasting vegetables, and are good to put under other pans in the oven to catch drips.

A couple of holiday-themed crafts are about to be put away, the sideboard is dusted and cleared as I get ready to set the big dining room table. I'm curious if the toy train set (nothing fancy, just one that can circle a tree, etc) might fit on that table down the middle. If the trains aren't running, people could eat with the track on the table. I think.
