Today, on this shortest daylight of the year, we are decorating with lots of lights and sparkle for Christmas. The tree has been up for a week or two (decorated) but the rest of the things haven't been taken out and put up until today. I am really liking it. :)

Yesterday Pete, Jeremiah and I played music at church. Pete played the guitar, Jeremiah on the djembe and me on the violin. It was the first time Pete and Jeremiah had ever played in front of anyone and the first time for me in a few years. I think we sounded good and there was clapping and even some cheers when we were finished. That made us all feel really good. :) We've been asked to play again soon. :)

I am down 0.8 pounds this week and given all the holiday goodies and a change in program, I'm good with that. I've decided that I will be most happy with myself if I maintain this week. It's Christmas. It's Pete's birthday. There are a lot of goodies circulating that are a once a year kind of thing. I am not going to go crazy with things but I'm not going to deny myself either. Moderation. I'm going to do my best to keep things in moderation.

You all know that I used to have a very active yoga program. Between now being a one income family and the fact that I am home all day....well, yoga at the studio isn't an option right now so I am very seriously considering the DDP yoga program.

I hope everyone is well on this day with the shortest amount of light. I personally am lighting up the house in a festive manner, making a healthy, colorful dinner and running Christmas movies as I bustle about.

Much Love,

Michelle
