That's a charming image, Michelle! When I had the bird feeders in the back yard my dogs used to do the same thing. Until they figured out how to rise up on their back legs and slurp seeds out of the hanging feeders. (The feeders are now next to the driveway, where the only opportunists tend to be hawks watching for little birds attracted to the feeders.)

Various cookies are now bagged and in the freezer, with one tin left out for snacking and the first to go to work next week to share in the office.
