Weren't they supposed to give me anesthesia or something? They strapped me to a bed and started in on my eye. And I thought the doctors wore masks and they didn't use pocketknives no matter how sharp, I recognized a couple of the nurses as bouncers at a local bar, too -- they'd been fired by the Legion for being too rough on lumberjacks and (real) cowboys.
