S.A., sometimes this can happen during the peak internet hours, such as from about 6PM to about 9 or 10.....what happens is that the server gets overloaded with people trying to get on or already on and sometimes folks get bumped offline. Is this a smaller local type ISP?

Or it could have something to do with the browser or related software...Do you have windows? If so you can go here to download any updates you might need.....

Also it could be something that blocks the easy transmission of information being passed over the net, such as a firewall. I used to have one on my pc some months ago, but it kept slowing things down so much, that I would get bumped off....Firewalls are a bit of a two edged sword anyways...Yes, they can prevent folks from getting into your files, but unless you carry sensitive information on your pc there is no need to have one....The problem is is that they also tend to alter your registry and can screw up your pc pretty good....
