This doesn't cover those who's motivations for contesting science may be less innocent and more disturbing (the hydrocarbon industry, creationists, ISIS etc) but it does give insight into how these ideas are formed.

So we need the Edgar's of this world too teach us why we often think the way we do. What we don't need is them buggering it up for the rest of us because of their endless personal incredulity and witless gullibility.
