My teachers always told me that Pie was 22/7, or 3.142^&(^&etc. Anyhow in Canada we have ENGLISH MUFFINS, which were new to me when I arrived here, after being born and spending the first 27 years of my life in England. They are about 3-4" in Diameter and about 3/4- 1" thick packaged in packs of 4 or 6. They are "forksplit", which means that they are cut almost into 2 pieces and are made of sawdust. At least that's what it tastes like. They also sell "Scottish BAPS" of which I am not qualified to comment coming from Manchester. No mention of Parkin yet either, I guess that is a bit more of a cake. JohnB
