What is it about Americans that renders them incapable of accepting sound logic and good advice from non-Americans (or 'Aliens' as they quaintly call us!)?

Sweeping statements such as that are not helpful BWM. There are plenty of "us" who display attitudes and arguments that defy logic. Equally, I am sure that they are plenty of Mudcat members inside the US who share the same frustrations as you.
