I have done some of that, Mary. I had a futon that I liked and used as a sofa, but it was so big that I didn't have much use of the rest of the room, so I donated it to Salvation Army. I tried selling it on Craig's List, but that place is a crap shoot - no matter how low the price, they always wanted to push it lower (or if they said they wanted it they never turned up), so I simply donated it.
