I had a lovely evening with a gentlemen who introduced himself by confessing to manic-depression and lining up his medications for proof. Another hated his wife beyond belief because she had thrown him out without so much as a dinner plate or place setting of silverware. The evening got downright hostile when I pointed out that all were available for less than 20 bucks at Woolworth's and I wouldn't break up a set of good china or silverware either. The best was a man who shared my love of opera and ballet but insisted on wearing his baseball cap covered in gold military braid during all performances.
