MOM is perched at the bottom, though it is more than 12 hours before she would actually pitch headlong into the abyss. We have rescued her, and my lab Zeke has invited her out to the back yard to throw his toy to fetch, and she seems so inclined. She's gonna regret that decision - this guy never quits!
