My friend Susie decluttered herself of an entire house, but it wasn't without a lot of drama. She spent the weekend with me, and her little dog too (who, I just discovered, found a corner to poo in, rather than wait till we could send her into the yard). :-(

She's a free agent this month, stuff in storage, mostly spending time with her sister several states away. When she returns she'll have to find a place, and I'd hope a number of folks will counsel her that she's better off keeping family and not stressing over the furniture. If they don't want family heirlooms, that's sad, but it's sadder to be estranged from family over it.
