Still recouping from trip but most of this trip's load of stuff is put away - pile set aside to send to #1 son and a couple shopping bags full for thrift shops. Back to snow clearing and bringing in wood! Snowed a couple inches on Tuesday, melted on Weds and has been snowing all day today. Plow just went up the hill and back.Took car in for service this morning - noisy exhaust and oil change.

Checked at Township about paying taxes on line but took a second call to credit union - Done! Emsiled friends re getting more work done here - after the snow stops! Great visit with friends yesterday aft, supper at Chinese and we went to the movie at Place for the Arts - Black Swan, a horror!

The latest Af violet had made two trips to Quebec and back on the front seat and is doing nicely! A lot of pleasure for $1.49!

The south wall of house is/was clear of snow and soon will be again. Then I can dig up a comfrey for neighbours in Quebec. Chickpeas in slow cooker. Today's storm may or may not be bad.
