Dave, Bakewell is on the A6, but I've sussed out what you meant (helped by eventually realising we were going in opposite directions!). I got to Buxton about 3pm and Bakewell soon after that. I wouldn't want to have been in the town if you'd asked for a Bakewell tart though. They do say that if you call a pudding a tart in Bakewell....
