Bill D, I do understand what you are saying, but firstly can I correct your spelling. Flavour is spelt Flavour not flavor.

Bill, that in the UK would be seen as humorous not as a nasty aside, it's just the way we are. We understand it, for the most part accept it and get on with the rest of our lives.

I really think some of the "problems" that occur are down to a lack of insight by American Mods into the weird, obtuse and sometimes downright belligerent nature of British humour. (with a U, please note)
