Thank you, M. I cannot watch a video that long; the flashing of changing scenes makes my brain hurt; the dialogue is hard for me to follow and, hence, also hurts my brain. These are a direct result of the brain damage done in 2000 by environmental toxins.

However, when I considered fasting, I googled it and found the most helpful thing for me was the Every Other Day plan. It has a FB page which I found encouraging, almost a support group sort of thing. This grou is my primary support group. So I am here to say, I am making it through the 2nd fast day with determination, telling myself the hunger I feel is for a good cause! Using the computer and reading to take my mind off it.

BEst of all was the high energy level yesterday, when I still managed to eat conservatively and throw some pots, wash the dishes and more. Felt great all day; keeping that in mind, I am getting through today. Managed errands this am: the 50% sale at the Thrift Warehouse (spent $4 on useful items) and was not tempted by their 1st anniversary cake (it wasn't chocolate!), took a couple dozen empty salsa bottles to the Food Bank (they were appreciative), bought onions and apples and made a batch of stewed apples, had my hair de-cluttered but not my brain. got a project idea from the hair-cutter, picked up my new Canadian passport at the post office(!!!), phoned R to tell him, trimmed yesterday's pots, brought in more wood as snow is in the offing, and ran out of steam.

I continue to do little organizing things as the spirit moves me, finding bits to be sent elsewhere. Every little bit helps! Gorgeous day but below freezing. I watch the west hill daily for a tinge of green. Friday was the first anniversary of owning this house; we are doing OK!.

Now I shall go investigate further.
