Thanks for that correction. I've added it to Jim Dixon's post above. Jim got the lyrics from an Andrew Greeley book. I'm surprised Fr. Greeley got the words wrong.
I listened to the song on Liam Lawton's In the Quiet album, and the last line is as you say, "our God will be there." It's a female vocalist singing the song. I wonder who she is.
