I met one catter once, years ago and the most emotional significance he attributed to mudcat was the special people he was privileged to get to know there. HE WAS speaking OF rick FIELDING and his recent passing.

I was so uptight that day, trying to appear "normal" I couldn't play the mandolin or even the autoharp let alone sing. Now that Ive mellowed to near rot, I regret not joining in or being a better sounding board.
