Were that indeed the case could you now please explain the creation and existence of the voluntary organisation that used to be called The British Commonwealth of Nations, now known throughout the world as The Commonwealth, the second largest international organisation in the world after the United Nations itself. There are countries that have joined it who have never had any historical link to the UK - strange that for rulers who were as brutal as you claim isn't it.

Really Thompson? Great Britain was dragged into the First World War by the German invasion of Belgium, Great Britain declaring war on the Central Powers on 4th August, 1914 - hold that date in mind Thompson:
