Decided to stay here as R is far too busy. He is trying to get enough done to be able to come here for the long weekend next week. HOPE! for the repair of the septic pump.

Trip to dental clinic yesterday - cleaning of teeth and a few errands before and after and did get one plaster basin made. Would like a larger one and looking for a "mold" for that purpose.

Made a number of getting-things done appointments this am and met with friends to encourage them re Mom in long term care which is less than acceptable - talk to other people, get together and speak to admin....

Thought of "who to ask" re getting outhouse and sheds shored up before they sink into the ground!   He will come by tomorrow eve to look at the situation. I know I can trust him - to do a good job or tell me to forget it. That will be a biggie off my mind.

Cooked way too many black beans! Some for soup, the rest... Need to freeze some!
Roasted more sunflower seeds - replacement for cookies. And hid the jar in a cabinet to keep them from Sassy who seems to be able to open screwed on lids! Sassy came to the K door today and looked at me as though to say, "Well, where is some food?" I told him/her, quietly, that I wanted her to go outside, and opened the Front door. She went out!

A beautiful day - first mosquito and a few black flies. And, finally, a few trees leafing out on the west hill!
