You also haven't explained why partition being a temporary is mentioned in the 1920 Act if permanent partition was already a done deal? Why there was a clause giving Northern Ireland the option to opt out of an independent Ireland in the Anglo-Irish treaty of 1921 if permanent partition was already a done deal?
