I think my friend is lookin' for something kind of "Glitzy fun". Also BIG! Can't think of anything glitzier or bigger than the J-200 shape. The Doves and Hummingbirds fit the bill for the dreadnought shape.

Jimmie Rodgers did indeed play several Martins, (including the one mentioned)most far less ornamented than the "45"....BUT....he had an endorsement deal with ANOTHER guitar company. What company?
