Very hot for a few days and not much got done. Now it has been cooler and still not much getting done. Friend with woodworking shop did the bats for me yesterday morning plus nice short visit with eh and partner. Mike offered to help build the deck! And wants a BIG coffee cup for doing the bats.

Spent considerable time on FB and reading.

Tammy came by and we cleared the back/back shed in prep for work on Saturday. Good visit with friends at Timmy's today.

Tried to go to Town council mtng and the building was toxic so I left after ascertaining that the anti-inflammatory I gave an employee there for her parents, is working!   Did the library thing, picked up some US funds for trip at bank, attended a community gardens meeting and spent an hour successfully connecting printer to computer wirelessly!!!! Printed out two possible newspaper columns but never got the energy to take them to the editor.

Made appointment for oil change tomorrow and was called re appointment with ophthalmologist in July! Need someone to drive me home---- Will put it on FB. What an imposition - it is 60 miles!

So, the house is reasonably tidy. Several tasks that are no longer DIY for me still need doing. Our older friend was missing for a while today - in the back yard. Talked to Tam about the alzheimer bracelet. When someone goes missing here, we are talking thousands of acres of Canadian bush country, full of rocks and dead falls.

I have been having dieting/fasting difficulty the last few days; may need a break.
