So fortunate that house, so far, has not gone over 80 with curtains drawn. Up about 7 am today: moved rest of stove wood, put some of dirt back into septic holes, dug some of comfrey - a pest! Went to post office to see about sending R's keys; purolater suggested so I went there and sent keys - will be there by 5pm tomorrow. I love living where things are a couple minutes apart!

Stopped by car insurance office to find out how to pay on line since the company does not provide that info @#$%^&*idiots! Then to home hardware where 4inch plants are down to 99cents. Bought some strawberry plants and some red verbena - for pretty! - for the beds to be built. Stopped to inquire about possible dirt delivery - no problem - Thurs or Fri!

Had veggie/turkey burger brunch started load of laundry!!!! and did a dump run. Stopped at Community Care to inquire about transport to ophthamologist (sp!) next month. Big hug from new director - I've known her since she was a little kid! Congratulated her with delight! Someone will phone. Cost quoted is $88! I will put a request on FB to see if anyone is going down that day. One of the drawbacks of living in the boonies: one bus a day south, one north - never at the needed times.

Two loads of laundry done; one hung and might be dry already on this breezy - might rain tonight - day! So time to go hand the second. Need better clothes line installation. Maybe my friends will have an idea. NO trees! I have one of those umbrella things in Montreal.... Not being used! If I had asked R to bring it, he either would have forgotten it (as he did the grass cutter) or taken lots longer to get here ....
