little by little is the name of the game!

Yesterday: my friends put an eavestrough over the back door - no more drips on head or on wood! They installed an old shelf unit in kiln room/shed which is already partly organized - need a couple more shelves! And the one in the studio so that is greatly improved. Then started on the 2 10x4 raised beds for south side - one on each side of septic, whihc I have almost gotten all the soil back on top of.

a nice man came about 5 pm and de-cluttered a section of the yard of the almost thigh high weeds which made walking challenging. After an hour, he informed me this would be a $100 job. He also found it challenging. Fine! I raked up some of the grass. Need lawn rake rather than garden rake - will borrow one from neighbour. Dug part of a bed on north side for lettuce; it gets some sun. Went up the hill to other neighbour for the strawberry plants and filled a wash basin. May go for more today. These will go in one of the new raised beds. The other...??? Maybe green and wax beans. Maybe carrots/beets/turnips between?

Worked on stuff all day yesterday and some tired today. Mended a few things but stalled at machine work. Cleared a bit here and there. Down to 60 outside this am. great for working; I am waiting for energy to return.
