When I was young my dad told me, "No teasing is 100% teasing." Consequently, I never could tease effectively because I was taken too seriously. Now I can only get by with saying something so totally ridiculous or untrue that folks know I'm not serious. I'm more comfortable around people that I know can "take it" so that I don't have to watch everything I say. I used to work with a group of men and was always surprised at the level and kind of teasing that went on. Going bald was something I had never given the slightest notice to, but was a very big topic of concern and teasing among the guys.
