Mesquite Star Hotel & Casino in Mesquite, Nevada (an hour east of Las Vegas on the AZ,UT,NV border) is planning an Oktoberfest cowboy style with a cowboy polka and yodeling contest Saturday, October 17, 1998. Entry is FREE and there are many prizes...cash and merchandise....$350 first, $250 second, $150 third, $100 fourth and $50 fifth, sixth & seventh..but every pariticpant will win something.
