I pulled a frozen casserole and have it in the oven for dinner tonight and lunches this week. Eggplant and chicken Parmesan. I'm not getting much eggplant from the garden this year, so I'll have to rely on the freezer for last year's surplus.

I have a bunch of bedding plants to put into the garden and have cleared a space for most of them. They've been languishing in pots for too long. Maybe I'll have Swiss chard this fall and winter. A VHS tape being digitized, and as soon as this finishes the tape goes into the recycle bin and I run to the store. Overlapping tasks today, nothing very pressing, but when I finish with these plants, I'll conclude planting everything I started growing last spring and it will be time to clear out space and set up for the next season of bedding plants. I'll try to plan better next time - like ordering my seeds this fall, not waiting till winter or spring.

More VHS tapes to the e-waste bin tomorrow, and I am considering painting that case they've been in and assigning it to a place in the den to hold all of my DVDs and CDs. The next batch of obsolete media. . .
