Beaver:

YAY for sagging jeans (Acme) and Michelle's good news (on FB)!

And for my new entry with the patio blocks finally in place and the pallet on which they spent the summer out of the front yard, the little cedar planted near the stream, the high places (on the house) mostly painted and the siding started on the dreadful looking sheds. So nice to come home to! And another cord of wood to stack and my share of screws yet to put in the new siding - physical things to keep me moving and feeling as though I am DOING something! The rest of the garden survived that frosty night and there were five yummy strawberries for me tonight! The person doing the work even took my folding chair from the front yard to the back so the front looked supper tidy. I brought it back so I could eat supper out front where it was cool.

The BR in Montreal came together at the 11th hour after poor R spent two full days loading the 12 machines to go to Michigan, painful de-cluttering. Eleven more leave this week. But the house.... The BR looks pretty good. Our friend is staying 9 days and will de-clutter the compost bin which has tried to self destruct. If he cannot get it back together, I shall purchase another one. The compost to go on the flower beds in the back yard. A wonderful helpful thing he will do competently! YAY again!

A realtor knocked on the door Saturday and I quickly informed her the "house is not for sale"; as I turned back into the chaos of the LR, I wanted to run after her and beg her to "sell it at any price!!!" Thank heavens for Beaver, my Haven.

My eyes started to hurt tonight and I changed from CFL to LED bulb; seems to help, though I suspect the good old bulbs are better.
